Blogging. What is it? Marketingterms.com defines a blog as a frequent, chronological publication of personal thoughts and Web links. Why would anyone want to read someones elses blog? Does anyone really care  what Joe Schmoe has to say about the latest news and current events?.....No, not really. The way to attract readers to your blog is by giving your personal thoughts and opinions on something of interest. Initially, the blogger does not have to be interesting, but the topic he/she is writing about should be. Some blogs cater specifically to individual interests. For example, if a horse lover was to blog about horses, saddles, riding gear, or stables, etc., they would get a following of people with similar interests. However, the people that don't give a poop about horses wouldn't waste time reading that blog. Any blogger, regardless of the topic, must blog about current events related to their topic of interest. No one wants to read about last weeks news today. Through reading blogs, I've found that my attention is captured by images attached to the blog. If a blogger doesn't have an image, then he/she doesn't have my attention. My blogs may be educational, inspiring, or just entertaining; but, I assure you that I will try my best to make sure they are not dull.
